On Tuesday afternoon we organize a hands-on workshop for all participants to the TEI 2016 conference. In teams, you will engage in 3 types of activities that enable you to explore the topics that TEI will cover five years from now. Interactions may be social, technological, experiential or what you come up with. As your team explores these areas, consider how the future could be based on the present. As a participant, you will engage in fieldwork to observe novel interactions, think through potential scenarios, and make a physical/visual representations on the future of interaction. In each activity you will produce an element that you can install into a frame that shows your team’s thinking on the future of interactions. These frames will be photographed and archived for display 5 years from now at TEI 2021. Be thoughtful, be provocative, be creative!
