They are the core strength of the conference, keeping it running smoothly and making sure that the attendees and speakers have a great experience. We seek proactive and enthusiastic SVs to help us with providing a smooth and successful conference experience.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">As a student volunteer, you get a full conference pass, providing you access to the seminars, workshops, and all the social events! This will give you a chance to meet established members in the community and build a long-lasting network with your international group of peers. Being an SV is a great and fun experience and provides valuable insights on how conferences are run for your future career. You will also get to enjoy a dedicated SV \u2018Thank You\u2019 party at the end of the conference!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The TEI 2024 is planned to be held in an on-site format. We\u2019re looking for people eager to assist us in shaping the conference experience. Your tasks as an SV would involve helping attendees and assisting speakers on-site, facilitating organisers, providing information, and generally being a point of contact for all conference attendees.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This year, the SV call is aimed at those students who are willing to visit Cork, Ireland between the dates of February 10th &#8211; 14th, 2024. Acting as an SV, you agree to several responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><!-- wp:list --><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul><!-- wp:list-item --><\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>You will be asked to work up to 20 hours over the course of the conference<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><!-- \/wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><!-- wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>You will be asked to attend the SV orientation before the start of the conference on February 10th<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><!-- \/wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><!-- wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>You will be asked to be present for the entire duration of the conference, February 11th &#8211; 14th, 2024.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><!-- \/wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><!-- \/wp:list --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This opportunity is open primarily to PhD students, but M.A.\/M.Sc. students may also apply. Students must be working or studying in areas related to TEI. While previous experience is a plus, it is not a requirement \u2013 all necessary instructions and training will be provided.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">All applicants must send an email with some attachments to the SV chairs on or before <b>Friday, October 27th 2023<\/b>.
