Conference Venue
TEI '08 will be held at the Bonn-Aachen International Center for Information Technology (B-IT).
The B-IT center is located in the city of Bonn, Germany, on the banks of the Rhine.

Information at a glance
Take a plane to Frankfurt Airport (FRA), Cologne/Bonn Airport (CGN) or Düsseldorf Airport (DUS).
Take the train or bus to Bonn Central Station (in German: Bonn Hauptbahnhof) or Siegburg/Bonn.
From there take the tram/underground train to the station Heussalle/Museumsmeile.
From there it is a 5 minutes walk to Dahlmannstr. 2 where the conference takes place. (more details see below)

Arrival by Plane:
- Frankfurt Airport:
Take a high-speed train (ICE) from Frankfurt Flughafen Fernbahnhof (Railway station at Frankfurt Airport) to Siegburg/Bonn. The train takes about 40-55 minutes. A single ticket costs about 50€.

From Siegburg/Bonn railway station take underground line 66 (below the railway station, destination Bad Honnef or Ramersdorf) to station Heussallee/Museumsmeile (single-ticket 4,10€). It takes about 30 minutes. Underground trains depart about every 10 minutes during daytime.
Get off at station Heussalle/Museumsmeile. Look for the exits towards Welcker Straße. Follow Welcker Straße to its end, turn left into Dahlmannstraße. Turn left again and you find the B-IT right there.

- Cologne/Bonn Airport:
Take a taxi (about 50€) or take the bus line 670 to Bonn Central Station (in German: Bonn Hauptbahnhof, single-ticket 6,30€). It takes about 40 minutes. Buses depart about every 30 minutes during daytime.

At Bonn Hauptbahnhof go to the underground and take underground line 16 or 63 (destination Bad Godesberg) or underground lines 66 or 68 (destination: Bad Honnef or Ramersdorf) to Heussalle/Museumsmeile. It takes about 6 minutes. Underground trains depart about every 4 minutes during daytime.
Get off at station Heussalle/Museumsmeile. Look for the exits towards Welcker Straße. Follow Welckerstraße to its end, turn left into Dahlmannstraße. Turn left again and you find the B-IT right there.

- Düsseldorf Airport:
Take a train from Düsseldorf Flughafen (Railway Station at Düsseldorf Airport) to Bonn Central Station (in German: Bonn Hauptbahnhof, single-ticket 13,80€). The train takes about 65 minutes. Trains depart every hour during daytime.

At Bonn Hauptbahnhof go to the underground and take underground line 16 or 63 (destination Bad Godesberg) or underground line 66 or 68 (destination: Bad Honnef or Ramersdorf) to Heussalle/Museumsmeile (single ticket 2,30€). Arrival by Train:
To find a train to Bonn, please see German rail. If you arrive by train at Bonn Central Station (In German: Bonn Hauptbahnhof)
take the underground line 16 or 63 (destination Bad Godesberg) or the underground line 66 or 68 (destination Ramersdorf and Bad Honnef) to Heussalle/Museumsmeile (single ticket 2,30€). It takes about 6 minutes. Underground trains depart about every 4 minutes during daytime.
Get off at station Heussalle/Museumsmeile. Look for the exits towards Welcker Straße. Follow Welckerstraße to its end, turn left into Dahlmannstraße. Turn left again and you find the B-IT right there.
Arrival by Car:
Google Maps can find a route to B-IT
Coming from the A565 take the exit Poppelsdorf.
If you come from Cologne on the A555 then you will be led there if you follow "Bad Godesberg" until you enter the city of Bonn from west.
Entering Bonn from west:
Follow the Reuterstraße over the Reuterbridge. Now follow the signs "Bundeshaus": You come half-right onto the Willy-Brandt-Allee and turn left into Heussallee. (This is easy to miss. If so don't worry, just use the next possibility to turn back and then turn into Heussallee following "Bundeshaus".) At the first traffic light on Heussallee, turn left into Dahlmannstraße and follow it almost down to the Rhine. Turn left again and you find the b-it right there, opposite of the Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung in the former Chancellor's Office. (If you arrive at the Rhine you just passed the b-it on your left.)
Please note that there is only limited parking at the b-it. Refer to the plan here to find the parking at Charles-de-Gaulle-Strasse.
