venue and registration

TEI 2027 will take place between January 24 and 27 at Centro Cultural de Belém (Google Maps) in Lisbon, Portugal. Sitting by the Tagus River and next to the famous (and delicious) Pastéis de Belém (Google Maps), the venue is easily reachable by tram, bus, or ride-share from Lisbon's downtown. A webpage detailing our venue, recommended modes of transport, and accommodation options is available here.

Please note that for every accepted submission in the Proceedings (i.e., Papers and Pictorials) or in the Extended Abstracts (i.e., WiPs, Arts and Performances, GSC, Studios, and SDC) at least one author has to register to attend the conference by the early registration deadline (December 18, 2026) — studio-only registrations do not apply.

Potential attendees can also benefit from the Gary Marsden Travel Awards and Development Fund. Please note that you can become an ACM SIGCHI member for as little as $10 a year.
