Theme of the CCT, 14th Annual Mardi Gras Conference

14th Annual Mardi Gras Conference

The Mardi Gras conference series is an annual event, hosted at Louisiana State University and sponsored in part by LSU's Center for Computation and Technology (CCT). It has been held annually since 1994, with the exception of 2005 (due to complications from Hurricane Katrina). Each year, the Mardi Gras conference has a different theme. In 2004, the theme was Frontiers of Grid Applications and Technologies. The 2006 theme is Tangible and Embedded Interaction (TEI). TEI is held in cooperation with ACM and the proceedings are archived in the ACM digital library. They are also seeking to establish TEI as a regular annual or bi-annual event.
