COVID-19

The world and also the worldwide TEI community are facing the various professional and personal consequences of the Covid-19 outbreak. Since the current crisis obviously also impacts the organization of the TEI2021 conference, the chairs and the steering committee are committed to adapt their planning in order to make the event a success even under these challenging circumstances. Due to the expected worldwide increase in Covid-19 infections during the winter season, it has become clear that most of the TEI2021 participants will be affected by travel restrictions and other regulatory constraints. Therefore the TEI 2021 organisation team has been working hard on a suitable conference format, which will be an online event.

In addition to the presentation of core research papers, TEI2021 will of course maintain the variety of alternative tracks, such as pictorials, work-in-progress, studios and artistic contributions as well as the graduate student consortium and student design challenge.
