General Info

During TEI 2016, there will be room for a number of student volunteers. As a student volunteer, you are the face of the conference, assisting chairs, speakers, and attendees in making the conference a success. In return for your help, you will get a free conference registration and thereby a unique chance to meet and network with established members in the community as well as your student peers.

DURING THE CONFERENCE

To prepare for the conference and you need to be available from Saturday (February 13th) afternoon. During the conference your activities will include supporting the registration process, hosting and guiding people over the different venues of the conference, supporting exhibitors in building-up and taking down their demos. Consequently, you will be present until the end of the conference, i.e. until Wednesday (February 17th). Throughout these five days you will have around 20 hours of work. This should give you plenty of free time to meet with other visitors and attend various activities throughout the conference.

APPLICATIONS

To apply for becoming a student volunteer you need to provide us with a one-page motivation letter and a one-page CV by December 1st 11:59 pm PST through e-mail, teisv.chairs@gmail.com.

Given the different locations around the city and the biker-friendly Dutch society, it is advisable that you can ride a bike.
