Accessibility FAQ
Communication & Contact
How do I communicate accessibility needs to TEI 2026 organizers?
During registration, attendees will encounter a question about disabilities or access accommodations. The Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusion chairs will follow up to discuss your needs. You can also reach out directly at diversity2026@tei.acm.org.

What are expectations around inclusivity, diversity, and harassment?
We ask that all conference attendees respect individuals' identities. Please use their names and pronouns. The ACM SIGCHI Policy on Harassment and Discrimination applies to all conference activities.

Presenters needing assistance should contact Jack Forman & Veen Wong by February 18, 2026, or earlier, at diversity2026@tei.acm.org.
Sensory Considerations
Will there be loud music, strobe lighting, spotlights, or other strong sensory experiences?
We are instructing authors to avoid strobing or flashing lights in their videos and presentations. Organizers are coordinating with other chairs to ensure pleasant experiences at all venues, particularly during social events.
