Pub Access at the Main Venue

The Pub @ Ida Noyes Hall for Attendees

We're happy to announce that TEI 2026 attendees will have access to The Pub, a beloved campus space that is usually exclusive to the University of Chicago community. The Pub is conveniently located on the lower level (underground floor) of Ida Noyes Hall, our main conference venue—making it an ideal spot to unwind after sessions and connect with fellow attendees.

How to Access

  • Bring your TEI conference badge
  • Pay the entrance fee: $5 (at the door)
  • Age requirement: You must be 21 years or older to enter
  • Valid photo ID is required and will be checked at the entrance

About The Pub

The Pub offers a relaxed, social atmosphere with a rotating selection of craft beers and classic bar snacks (kitchen closes at 10pm, menu offerings subject to availability). It's a popular gathering place for the UChicago community and a unique opportunity for TEI attendees to experience campus life firsthand.
