Visa Information

If you are unsure about U.S. visa requirements, please check the information provided by the US government. ACM and TEI'26 organizers can provide visa support letters to TEI'26 attendees, accepted authors, and presenters.

Important: We provide several ways to get visa letters. Please choose one of them and do not overwhelm the system by doing all. Importantly, as soon as registration is open, please register immediately for the conference.

Solution 1: From ACM

Visa letter requests are incorporated into the registration workflow. When you register for the conference, you will receive instructions on how to request a visa support letter from ACM.

If you have registered and did not follow the instructions for requesting a visa support letter, you can still request one by emailing supportletters@acm.org.

Information to Include in Your Email to ACM:

  • Your name (as it appears on your passport)
  • Your current postal mailing address
  • The name of the conference you are registering for (TEI'26)
  • Your registration confirmation number
  • If you have an accepted paper, include the title and indicate whether you are the sole author or a co-author
  • If you are presenting a demo or other work, include the title of your presentation

Please allow up to 10 business days to receive a letter. All requests are handled in the order they are received.

Solution 2: From TEI Organizers

Option A: Online Form (Faster)

Complete the TEI'26 visa support letter request form.

Option B: Email (Takes Longer)

Send your request to reg2026@tei.acm.org.

Information to Include When Requesting from TEI Organizers:

  • Your name as it appears on your passport (in Latin alphabet)
  • Your gender and the gender marker as it appears on your passport (this information is necessary for preparing the letter in English and to expedite visa processing; ensuring the letter matches your passport documentation helps speed up the process)
  • Your nationality as shown on your passport (in Latin alphabet)
  • Your passport number
  • Your position/title (e.g., PhD student, Professor, etc.)
  • Your institutional affiliation
  • If you have an accepted publication, include:
    • The type of publication (Paper, Pictorial, Work-in-Progress, etc.)
    • The exact title of your publication

Please allow up to 10 business days to receive a letter. All requests are handled in the order they are received.
