Registration

We are making TEI 2026 registration as accessible as possible while still covering the expenses of the conference. The registration site is expected to open in early January, and we are listing the tentative prices and registration information to guide authors and participants in deciding their attendance ahead. Please note that for every accepted Paper, Pictorial, Arts, or Work-in-Progress submission, at least one author has to register personally before the early bird deadline.

Conference Registration & Fees

Registration to TEI 2026 will give you access to the live and interactive program. Full, in-person conference registration includes access to all sessions, coffee breaks, Sunday Welcome reception, and conference reception on Monday, where demos and art+performance sessions will take place. Online participation includes access to the live stream of the TEI '26 single track and provides access to a live-streamed tour of the demo and art & performance track session.

TEI offers different pricing by the country of your current home address. C countries pay the full price, H countries pay 40% of the cost (60% discount) and I countries pay 25% of the cost (75% discount). See the list of countries in each category at the end of this page.

Studio Registration & Fees

You can choose to register for just one studio. In this case, a studio is expected to cost $100 whether you are a student or not. This registration only gives access to the Studio Program on March 8, without the welcome reception and other programs.

Categories (Country List)

TEI uses SIGCHI's country categorization system for pricing. Countries are divided into three categories:

Category C: Full price
Category H: 40% of the cost (60% discount)
Category I: 25% of the cost (75% discount)

Category C (Full Price)

All countries not listed in category H or I.
