Student volunteers

Student volunteers are an essential part of the TEI conference. We seek proactive and enthusiastic SVs to help us with providing a smooth and successful conference experience.

The TEI 2023 is planned to be held in on-site format, involving livestreaming of the conference events. We’re looking for people eager to assist us in shaping the conference experience. Your tasks as an SV would involve helping attendees and assisting speakers on-site and/or through online support channels, livestreaming sessions amd keynotes, facilitating organizers, providing information, and generally being a point of contact for all conference attendees. 

This year, the SV call is aimed at those students who are willing to visit Warsaw between February 25th and March 1st 2023. As an acknowledgment of the time and energy put in as an SV, we are happy to waive your conference fee* and provide unique opportunities to network with an international group of peers; including a dedicated SV thank-you party and other SV-activities.

Acting as an SV, you agree to several responsibilities

• You will be asked to work up to 20 hours over the course of the conference 
• You will be asked to attend the SV orientation before the start of the conference on February 25th (afternoon)
• You will be asked to be present for the entire duration of the conference, including Studio day (February 26th – March 1st, 2023)

This opportunity is open to all students working in areas related to TEI. While previous experience is a plus, it is not a requirement – all necessary instructions and training will be provided.
